The challenge

An investor site. In a guest business.

The existing Squarespace website had one job: attract investors during the villa's development phase. That job was done. The new job was entirely different: attract high-end guests and convince them to book directly rather than through Airbnb or VRBO.

Beyond the wrong audience, the site had no booking capability, no property management system, and wasn't optimised for the travel search terms that would bring organic guests. Every Airbnb and VRBO booking came with a commission cost that direct bookings would eliminate.

What wasn't working

What we did

Pivot from pitch deck to booking machine.

The site needed a complete strategic reset. Not a minor update: a full repositioning from investment opportunity to luxury guest experience. And underneath the design, the infrastructure to take bookings directly and reduce OTA dependence.

Website Redesign
Redesigned the Squarespace site with a guest-first approach. Clean, minimalist aesthetic that lets the property speak. Easy navigation and prominent CTAs that guide visitors toward direct booking.
Direct Booking System
Integrated a Property Management System (PMS) handling availability, pricing, and reservations. Guests book directly: no OTA commission, no dependency on third-party platforms.
SEO Strategy
SEO-optimised sitemap targeting "villa Bingin Bali" and related travel search terms. A long-term foundation for organic discovery by travellers planning Bali trips.
Luxury Positioning
Design and copywriting that reflects the premium nature of the property, building the trust guests need to book direct rather than defaulting to the safety of Airbnb.
