Ana is the person who quietly makes sure New Wave actually functions.
She pays the bills, keeps on top of the boring-but-important admin, organises the tedious tasks nobody else wants to touch, and generally makes sure the business does not descend into chaos.
She is also one of the biggest drivers of team culture behind the scenes.
A lot of what Ana does is not particularly glamorous. It is, however, extremely important. She keeps the lights on, literally and figuratively.
Ana is also the subtle culture-building mastermind of the team.
She is often the person making sure we actually stop working occasionally and do something together. That includes things like:
She has helped organise team trips to places like Bali and the Philippines, and generally makes sure there is more to working at New Wave than just sitting behind a laptop all day.
She probably does more for team culture than anyone else, while somehow making it look like she is not really doing anything.
